Viv is an experienced Buteyko Practitioner and also holds a Diploma in Life Coaching. She is member of the BIBH (Buteyko Institute of Breathing and Health). Buteyko breathing therapy naturally and permanently overcomes the symptoms of asthma, blocked nose, allergies (including hay-fever), snoring, sleep apnoea and other breathing related disorders. Viv's background is in teaching and nursing
Viv trained in Brisbane with Jennfier Stark, a world expert on the Buteyko Method. For over twenty five years, Viv struggled with severe asthma symptoms. The illness ruled her life, forcing her to give-up many of the activities she loved. Her life changed forever when she learnt the Buteyko Breathing Method and she has been both symptom free and medication free ever since
Viv trained in 2004 with Newcastle College in England as a Life Coach, having experienced life-changing results herself through professional coaching and mentoring. She has a special interest in NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and also nonverbal communication skills - the power of body language
Viv's goals are to to inspire, educate and empower people to achieve their best possible health and well-being
She is based in Queenstown and regularly travels across South Island to run both Buteyko seminars and courses, and to life coach. She is married to Andy, who supports her in running 'Wellness Works' and they have three sons - Matt and Si who are also based in Queenstown and Tom with his wife Cazz and their new baby Sam, who live in England
Viv's interests include tramping, cross-country skiing and mountain biking. She is an avid reader and also plays guitar, mandolin and African djembe drums
